In Apollo 2, widgets to are used to add content to the sidebar of posts and the website’s footer. Widgets are found under the Appearance option in the Dashboard menu by selecting Widgets.
Widgets can be added in the areas below, and options are limited to two blocks per area so as not to overwhelm it with blocks.
Post Sidebar
- Available blocks: Paragraph, Heading, List, Card (creates a single card), and Latest Posts
- Widgets will appear in right sidebar only and replace the default Recent Posts widget.
Website Footer
- Divided into three columns, limited to 2 blocks per column.
- Available blocks: Paragraph, Heading, List, and Card (creates a single card)
- Widgets will appear along the bottom of all pages and posts on the website, and will replace the use of the Gutenberg footer.
