Requesting an Account

In order for a UF Health social media account to be able to represent the institution, they have to be approved by UF Health Communications. To begin the process of setting up an account, please complete our online request form. The social team will then follow up to discuss your goals and discuss how to build an effective social media strategy.

  • Once an account is approved, it is listed as an official UF Health social media channel on ufhealth.org. Our social team often boosts content from our social channels to our larger audiences when we see it has good engagement and the content aligns with our audiences.
  • The UF Social office follows a separate approval process for listing accounts as an official account of the University of Florida. You must be approved as a UF Health channel first before beginning that process.
