Newly released Apollo 2 features are header animations and pattern kits. These features will help set your site apart from others and while maintaining the same look and feel of other UF Health websites.
Animations
Animations are meant to be slow and should not be distracting. Two animation options are available for your site: Triangulation and Helix. Note: Selecting an animation will override your pattern selection for the header.
To set an animation for your site:
- Go to the Dashboard, hover over Appearance
- Click on Customize
- Select the Header menu item.
- At the bottom of the left-side panel, under “Header Animation”, select one of the options.
- Click the Publish button to save your settings.
Available animations include:
- Aurora
- Bokeh
- Flare
- Frequency
- Grid
- Helix
- Hexagon
- Stars
- Strata
- Triangulation
Pattern Kits
Pattern kits are collections of a couple of patterns per kit that you can select to use on the site in the header’s background area and as the background pattern for the Section block.
To select a Pattern Kit to use on the site:
- Go to the Dashboard, hover over Appearance
- Click on Customize
- Select the General menu item.
- At the bottom of the left-side panel, under “Pattern Kit”, select one of the kit options.
- Click the Publish button to save your settings.
Available Pattern kits include:
- Circuit & Dot Grid
- Atoms & Plus
- Cubes & Hexagons
- Neurons & Dot Grid
- Sequence & Molecules
- Typography & Bank Note
- Cube Grid & Crosshatch
