Most blocks support the addition of one or more buttons that can be used to direct website visitors to a page on the site or to an external site. These buttons may also be referred to as “calls to action”, meaning that they are a way for your site visitor to take an action you want them to take such as registering for an event, or apply for a new program. These buttons are accessible, and fit the look and feel of the Apollo 2 theme. If you want to place a button on your page, it’s suggested that you choose a block which supports buttons for this purpose.
Blocks with Buttons
Blocks that support buttons will have a primary button in a bright blue color, and secondary buttons will appear to be a slate blue color. The intention behind this change in colors is to draw more attention to the first button, and to reinforce the importance of that button’s “call-to-action.”
